Location and opening hours

The Kinghorn Cancer Centre is located at 370 Victoria Street, Darlinghurst, NSW 2010. The building is between Liverpool Street and Burton Street, a short walk from St Vincents Public Hospital. 
THE CENTRE IS OPEN
8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 
excluding public holidays.

Transport and Carpark

The closest station is Kings Cross, on the Eastern Suburbs Line. It is a short walk along Victoria Street to the Kinghorn Cancer Centre.

Bus Service

The following bus routes stop close by:

311 - Railway Square to City - Millers Point via Darlinghurst, Kings Cross, Elizabeth Bay, Potts Point, Woolloomooloo and City - Town Hall.

389 - North Bondi to Pyrmont via Bondi Junction, Woollahra, Paddington, Darlinghurst, East Sydney, City, The Star and Maritime Museum.

Taxis

A taxi can be called from Kinghorn Cancer Centre reception.

Parking

Parking

Entry to the car park lifts is strictly from 8:00am – 5:30pm there is no access outside these times.

Enter car park behind The Kinghorn Cancer Centre via West Street, turn left from Burton Street.

Drive down the ramp, following directions to The Kinghorn Cancer Centre. Half price parking is available for our patients the Kinghorn reception staff will validate your ticket. Payment can be made credit card only at the machine on level P3.

There is limited metered street parking in the surrounding streets. St Vincents Public Hospital and St Vincents Clinic also have patient parking

Referrals and what to 
bring to your appointment

Referrals can be faxed to (02) 9355 5602 our reception staff can be contacted by phone (02) 9355 5737

When you attend for treatment or a clinic appointment you will need to bring your Medicare card, and/or any details of private health fund, and referral letters. It may also be useful to bring a list of your current medications and let us know of any allergies. You are very welcome to bring one friend or relative along for support.

Telehealth

Telehealth appointments

Your doctor or allied health professional will advise if a telehealth appointment is suitable, our administration staff will provide you with details on how to access virtual appointments.
Blood Tests

Blood tests

A pathology collection service for blood tests is available at the Kinghorn Cancer Centre 8:30am to 4pm, most results are available the same day, some specialised blood tests take longer, your doctor or nurse can advise.
Pharmacy

Pharmacy

Most medications are dispensed at St Vincents Public Hospital pharmacy or at a local community pharmacy. The Kinghorn Centre has a small pharmacy that dispenses selected medications. Your doctor or nurse will advise the appropriate pharmacy to obtain your medications.
