The Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) is a group of healthcare professionals who collaborate to provide comprehensive care for individuals diagnosed with breast cancer.
The MDT is chaired by Associate Professor Rachel Dear, a medical oncologist. It is attended by surgical oncologists, plastic surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, palliative care physicians, pathologists, imaging specialists, cancer geneticists, nurses and social workers. Meetings are held weekly.
